History Of Lenox Christmas Figurines

Lenox has been making Christmas figurines for over a century. The company was founded in 1889 and quickly became known for producing fine china and porcelain pieces. In 1917, Lenox began producing Christmas ornaments and figurines.

The first known Lenox Christmas figurine was a porcelain angel, produced in 1928. This was followed by other popular figures such as Santa Claus, snowmen, reindeer, and Christmas trees.

The Lenox Christmas figurines became especially popular in the 1980s and 1990s when the company introduced its annual Christmas collectible series. Each year, Lenox released a limited edition Christmas figurine, often featuring a new character or design. These collectibles were highly sought after by collectors.

Over the years, Lenox has continued to produce a wide range of Christmas figurines, including nativity sets, musical snow globes, and whimsical characters like the Grinch and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

Today, Lenox Christmas figurines remain a popular collectible, loved for their intricate detail and high-quality craftsmanship.

Carolina China Collectibles has a number of Lenox collectibles in stock.  These make excellent Christmas gifts.
